Meet Steve and Jill,

founders of Broken Tree

Steve Roloff is the lead pastor/executive director. Steve holds a BA from William Jewell College with a major in religion. Steve was a construction superintendent for his family homebuilding business, Roloff Development Company in St. Louis, Missouri for seventeen years. Steve’s background includes Para Olympian in Equestrian, volunteer for Young Life, Resident Director at William Jewell College, intern at Castle Oaks Covenant Church, Castle Rock, Colorado, and various ministry positions.

Steve’s wife Jill, graduated from Florissant Valley Community College with  an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Education.  She worked two summers with children who have special needs, for two years in a inner city mission with children from six months to twelve years old, for five years at Children’s World’s Learning Center, and volunteered with various ministries.

Steve and Jill got married April 29, 1995. They have two sons, Dylan and Colby.  Both Steve and Jill have Cerebral Palsy, and in April of 2020, Steve fell down a flight of  steps and received a spinal cord injury. Through all their brokenness, Steve and Jill persevere and prove their faith pure as gold by answering God’s call to move from St. Louis, Missouri to Castle Rock, Colorado in June of 2010 to plant Broken Tree Community Church.
